You’ve paid your dues, now it’s time to shine.
You’ve pounded the pavement, pulled the all-nighters, taken one for the team. Now it's time to revel in the fruits of your labor. No more waiting for the right time, now is the right time to live the life you’ve dreamed about.
I know, I’m living mine now, but it wasn’t such an easy decision, right? I’ve had quite a journey, one that took a wild left turn on me. After 25 years of a career in advertising, and being in my dream job as Creative Director, my future was abruptly interrupted by a combination of breast cancer and an unfortunate insight into the corporate mentality.
Welcome to Christine Kelly Jewelry. A long time coming and sorely overdue. I have been an artist since I can remember. I paint, sculpt, and design jewelry. I am inspired by the everyday shapes and textures around us. I think of jewelry as tiny sculptures we can wear around.
My first indication that I had this passion was when, as a kid, I took some scrap piece of tinfoil my mom was using in the kitchen and made a ring from it. From there I asked Santa for a roll of tinfoil for Christmas and was thrilled when I unwrapped it under the tree!
Jewelry holds a myriad of hopes, dreams, and commitments for me and I’m sure for you as well. Catching a glimpse of your bracelet as you’re giving a presentation, or turning your ring while waiting for an appointment, these are the little impulses that calm, comfort, and encourage. These little sculptures have the power to lift you up—feeling their light bounce with each step as you dash about the city to your next meeting. You have style and elegance, and you are remembered for it.
My materials have evolved since I was a kid with foil, and luckily, so have my skills. I’d love for you to browse though my collection and see what little sculptures you can wear around, to remind yourself that you are living an elegant and stylish life, and you are admired for it.
